NorCal Concert & Festival Crew

good music. good people.

Who We Are

We’re a fun, inclusive Meetup group for concert-goers, festival fans, and live music lovers, based in Sacramento, California. Whether you’re into jazz, EDM, country, pop punk, indie, hip hop, if you're a raver, a Swiftie, or anything in between—we’re here to connect people who love music. We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and concert/festival/rave experience levels—whether it’s your first rave or your fiftieth festival, you’re always welcome with our crew.

What We Do

We go to concerts, festivals, raves, and dance events or classes together — experiencing music not just by hearing it, but by moving to it. For us, music and movement go hand in hand. Whether we’re dancing in the crowd at a festival or learning new steps in a class, moving to music deepens the connection, energy, and joy we share as a community. At our core, we’re a group of music lovers who value connection, good vibes, and sharing unforgettable moments with friends. Beyond just showing up to events, we focus on building real relationships and supporting each other in discovering new artists, sounds, and scenes. We also hang out between shows—usually in Sacramento—to keep the vibe going and to build community and friendship. We’re primarily based in Sacramento and are always down to travel for larger festivals and shows. We also host Sacramento Sound Club—a more intentional, sit-down space to connect through music. Think of it like a book club, but for albums. Each month, we vote on two albums to explore, then come together to talk about the music, themes, production, and share our individual experiences of it.Sound Club was created out of a deep love for music—not just as background noise, but as something to really experience, reflect on, and talk about. It’s also rooted in a love for words, storytelling, and building meaningful community. It offers a slower, more intentional way to connect with both music and people, alongside the high-energy experiences of concerts and festivals.Sound Club mainly communicates and votes on monthly albums through our WhatsApp chat, but we come together in person for our meetings. Members are usually added after attending a meeting or two, so we can keep the space genuine, active, and community-focused—and ensure it remains a space where people feel comfortable sharing openly and being a little vulnerable.
